Caring, loving, giving, strong, structured, and determined are a few words to describe Jameliah. She knows what it means to dream big and then act accordingly to see her dreams come true. Jameliah Blount, an author, business owner and most importantly a mother of two amazing boys, Jordan and Jackson. As a mom she strives daily to show them that they can succeed at anything that they put their minds and effort towards. Focused on exposing them to a well-rounded, structured, and holistic parenting style.
Jameliah enrolled at Stevenson University, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in 2010. She re-discovered a love for helping and supporting young people during her time as the Director of Finance for a local college. She helped enroll, obtain financial aid, and create activities so students could have a whole college experience. Jameliah continued her graduate education at Arkansas Tech University, Russellville, AR, where she earned her Masters of Science in College Student Personnel. Spending the majority of her studies on how exposure and involvement can increase participation and a sense of wholeness in young people.

The combination of Jameliah’s own personal education, life experiences and child rearing experience with many years of working with youth groups lead her to establish Holistically Empowered Youth, Inc. Also known as H.E.Y. a 501(c)(3) approved non-profit organization whose mission is to provide supportive resources and services to families and community nonprofit partners in need through holistic programs, partnerships and access to our redistribution warehouse, H.E.Y. HUB.
